His divinity by frankincense, and His manhood
by myrrh; they offered him gold as their King; incense
as their Elohim; and myrrh, as united to a human body,
subject to suffering and death.

to the taste but sweet to the smell; myrrh in the
spiritual sense speaks of dying to self to become
a "sweet smelling savor" to YHWH. So; death
